Adult Day Care Service
Our background
Haringey Community Hub Day Care Service was set up on the 17th October 1997 for older people with long-term illnesses and those with a disability. Here at the centre, carers are able to speak appropriate languages and understand the cultural needs of all clients. We provide a safe and friendly environment to address the individual and group’s needs with appropriate advice on how to improve the quality of life of all clients.
Who the service is for
Our service is for anyone over the age of 40 with a long term illness, physical disability and/or sensory impairment as well as care needs who are living in the community and have already been assessed as requiring Day Care by a Care Manager.
There are up to 24 places available. Currently due to Covid uncertainty we have restricted this to 12 places available each day and the centre is open Monday to Friday excluding Bank and Public Holidays. Day Care is open Monday to Thursday 10am till 4pm.
