Our philosophy of care

Haringey Asian Day Care Centre provides therapy based support tailored to meet the individual needs of service users, Lloyd Park, Walthamstowas detailed in their support plan. Our Day Care Deputy Manager will work with each person and their appointed key worker to produce a Person Centred Plan, which will detail how attending the centre will enable them to reach their goals. The Person Centred Plan will also identify each person’s cultural and social needs.

Since centre supports people from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, it is very important to us to make everybody feel comfortable in our centre, hence our users are supported within the centre to access private areas for prayer, and we endeavour to cater for individuals with any identified dietary need.

Our services promote and maintain independence, autonomy and choice. We put a lot of effort to ensure that our services are provided in a manner which respects lifestyle, religious and cultural needs, as well as privacy and dignity.
